Reference Letters

If we've worked together on a project before, don't hesitate to ask for a reference letter. If we have not worked together and you have only been a student in one or more of my classes, please ensure at least one of the following is true:

The more of these that are true, the better. Otherwise, I will only be able to write a generic letter that may hurt your chances of acceptance.

If you want to ask me for a reference letter after taking a class from me, please ask as soon as the class is over, when our interactions will be fresh in my memory. It is far easier to save a letter in a folder than to remember students from months ago. Also, please introduce yourself during office hours so I can remember your name.
